DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION
The LP 505 model 1 is omni directional HF vertically polarized antenna designed to provide a broadband and high power radiation capability for transmitting and receiver sites. Antenna is formed by the merger of three antennas, hybrid antenna.
The antenna has a low angle radiation pattern and provide both medium and and long range HF communications by ground wave and sky wave, respectively. The radiation pattern in the azimuth plane is essentially omni-directional, while the elevation pattern varies with frequency. This antenna system has relative to 50 ohms unbalanced line.
The antenna, one tower ın the center, and there are three support with 120 degree angle.
